Description

Perspective view

This type of view is similar to the objective lens of a photographic camera: the perspective deforms the surfaces as a function of the distance. An object viewed far away is represented smaller than an object that is close to the viewpoint.

Isometric view

Isometric views are used in industrial drafting: there is no perspective and the dimensions are not modified by the distance to the viewpoint.
